Melinda

A project realised as part of ‘Profile Me’ for the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI).

Participants were invited to answer a profiling questionnaire authored by one of four artists. One profile was selected by each artist to be the inspiration for a portrait of the participant.

‘Melinda’ was constructed using the answers of a questionnaire focussed on her personal appearance. Using her own description of herself, the ‘idea’ of what she may look like was transferred into an image with Criminal Identification technology and the assistance of a Forensic Artist.
